About Me

I am Taiwanese American and I come from a family of immigrants. Like in many Asian households, mental health was not openly discussed by my parents while I was growing up, and expressing emotions was often considered unimportant or a sign of weakness. I never felt like my feelings were truly understood, and it was through my own struggles with mental health that I discovered a passion for helping others. As a therapist, my goal is to help clients find their own paths to healing and to know that there is always a way forward.

My background in Psychology and Social Work has led me to work with diverse populations in various settings. I have experience working as a parent consultant, delivering in-home behavioral therapy to children on the Autism spectrum. In addition, I’ve provided mental health services to foster youth, students with learning disabilities, and adults within an outpatient clinic. Lately, I have been finding joy in mentoring and providing clinical supervision to graduate students pursuing their Master's in Social Work.

Outside of therapy, I love traveling, being in nature, learning new things, indulging in TV shows, and spending time with my dog, Nacho.
